Michael Myers and Muscian Rob Zombie Clash

More people might be aware of Rob Zombie the musician instead of Rob Zombie the director. He started out as a musician with the band White Zombie. Now it appears that you see his name associated more with movies than with his music. He did a couple of movies that had a very gruesome story line and wasn’t necessarily for all members of the family. The kids might of had a little trouble sleeping if they would have caught a glimpse of House of 1000 Corpses or the Devil’s Rejects.

These movies and all of the Friday the Thirteenth movies (except for part 5) are some of my favorite horror movies of all time. Just go ahead and throw Freddy Kruger’s Movies in and you really would have a collection of all my favorite horror movies. Now the first Halloween movie was really good. That might be my top movie of all-time! The Jamie Lee Curtis being a baby-sitter and at the end they shoot Michael Myers to death and he falls over the balcony and lays dead on the ground. Only to see the old man comes back to the balcony for one more look at Michael’s dead body and he sees that he is gone! Then you hear that famous music and it goes off!

I remember when that movie was first featured at Youtube and watching it for the first time. I couldn’t wait to see the Rob Zombie movie and now you don’t hear much about it. Do you have any horror movies that you like to watch as a kid? What about the newer horror movies; which have came out since the year 2000. Any good scary movies you could recommend from the last 10 years? I’m not a kid anymore, but I still like to sit down with a big bowl of popcorn and watch a good horror movie on television. It really doesn’t get much better than Friday the 13th and all of the great Halloween movies. It won’t be long before we start seeing some horror films on TV; as the Halloween Day of October 31st is fast approaching.

It’s time to pick back up on my countdown to the top 100 books of all time. I am an American, so most of the book authors I know live in America or wrote a story pertaining to the States. I tried my best to include the best authors and books from all over the world. I did not intentionally discriminate any country, author, or book title in determining the top 100 books.

For Whom the Bell Tolls

Perhaps you have read this book or seen the movie For Whom the Bell Tolls. This story took place in Spain during the early days of World War II. You can see the brave American Gary Cooper trying to help Ingrid Bergman and her group of Spanish fighters in the movie. The movie was done in a way that Ernest Hemingway approved of and he did have a voice in this classic movie. This was due to the fact, Ernest Hemingway is the author of For Whom the Bell Tolls. Most book worms have read this classic story or saw the movie that featured a lot of big time Hollywood actors and actresses, as everyone in Hollywood back then wanted to be a part of this great Hemingway novel. No big surprise to see Cooper get the leading role, as he and Hemingway were big time buddies and even hunted together. This is just one of the classic novels that will appear on the countdown in this list of 20 books from the top 100 books in the world.

If you didn’t recognize too many of my first 40 selections of books I chose to be on the countdown; then I know you had to know some of these titles from my top 100 book list. There are some really popular books in this grouping and it’s only going to get tougher for me; as I try to narrow the field down to only 40 more books. You can imagine the number of books that have been written over the years. Now I must try to find and locate the 40 best books of all time. Since I have already named the first 60 books and have their special number already marked on my top 100 titles the world and even the Internet has ever seen!

I started out with my list of books from 91 – 100, I then did 10 more famous books from 81 – 100, and after that I tried to speed it up a little more and did my list of popular books from 61 – 80. Billiards For Family Fun

Success of the iPhone

I recently went down to our local AT&T store to check out the new iPhone that has been in the news. After playing with the device I was sure that this was my next phone. I am not usually one to jump on the technology that has been just released but I must say the features and ease of use of this phone is incredible. My other question was since this is supposed to be internet friendly and we are able to watch YouTube videos how much extra were the services going to be. Luckily they have thought this part through and the iPhone has it’s own plans with unlimited web and email. The plans are comparable to their standard plans with just a few less minutes. But with their roll over minutes and the fact that everyone who I call that is on the AT&T network don’t count towards my minutes this make for a great buy.
